Chandigarh Design School and SXILL are proud to represent India once again on a global stage, as Vineet Raj Kapoor, Founder of SXILL and Chandigarh Design School, participated in a high-level panel discussion at PromDiz 2025 in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.
The panel, titled “Industrial Design as a Catalyst for Global Production and Economic Development,” was held at the Creative Cluster, Red Army Street, and brought together international experts to discuss how industrial design has evolved into a core discipline driving economic growth across nations. The discussion highlighted how industrial design now sits at the intersection of engineering systems and creative economies, influencing manufacturing, productivity, and innovation.

Organized by Promdiz.Space as part of the International Conference on Industrial Design (12–14 November 2025), the session featured leaders from prominent design studios, academic institutions, and government bodies. The panel included: Yu. V. Filatova, A. I. Chernikov, Margarita Parandino, Sergey Smirnov, Pavel Konovich, Ivan Myachev, and Vineet Raj Kapoor, who represented India’s industrial design journey.
During the discussion, Vineet Raj Kapoor shared how industrial design is shaping India’s manufacturing and production ecosystem, contributing to initiatives such as Make in India, and positioning the country not only as a software superpower but also as a growing industrial and manufacturing destination.
Later the same day, Vineet Raj Kapoor delivered an International Keynote Address titled: “The Indian Model of Industrial Design Development: From Educational Programs to Industrial Partnerships.” The keynote explored how India has built a strong pipeline by integrating education, skill development, and industry collaboration, creating design professionals aligned with real-world production needs.
PromDiz 2025 continues to stand out as a major professional platform, now in its third consecutive year, fostering meaningful dialogue between theory and practice, academic knowledge and market demand, and local innovation with global trends.
Further reinforcing SXILL’s international standing, Neelu Kapoor, Founder of SXILL and IndiaSkills Graphic Design Technology Jury member, acknowledged Business Awards (UK) for honoring SXILL with the “Best Animation and Post Production Studio 2024 – India” award. This recognition underscores SXILL’s global brand acceptance and its commitment to providing high-quality, value-driven education, easing the financial burden faced by students across Asia, Europe, and America.
Through such global engagements, Chandigarh Design School and SXILL continue to contribute to international discourse on industrial design, economic development, and future-ready education.
