World Interaction Design Day celebrations at various Campuses in Chandigarh

Chandigarh Design School Leads World Interaction Design Day Events Across Chandigarh Colleges

Chandigarh, January 2025 – As a proud advocate for global design culture, Chandigarh Design School (CDS), alongside iXDA and partner institute SXILL, conducted two impactful events in celebration of World Interaction Design Day (iXDD) across Chandigarh.

The sessions were held at PGGC Sector 46 on January 24 and at Government Polytechnic for Women, Sector 10 on January 29, drawing a combined audience of over 500 students and faculty members.

Vineet Raj Kapoor, Local Leader for iXDA and Founder of CDS, introduced students to the world of Interaction Design, explaining how the global community of iXDA supports aspiring designers and fosters cross-disciplinary learning. His keynote laid out how design thinking, user experience, and storytelling intersect to shape meaningful careers.

Students also heard from Mangat Chauhan, Production Head at Virtualsoft, who elaborated on the animation development pipeline and various design and production roles available to fresh talent.

Kapoor concluded by offering personalized advice and career guidance, covering a broad spectrum of design fields and encouraging students to explore hybrid creative identities. Through anecdotes from industry legends, he emphasized how clarity in decision-making is the foundation of success in modern design professions.

These events reinforced CDS’s mission of enabling real-world exposure for students while nurturing the next generation of interaction and experience designers.
